This one wasn't made by me - my sweet husband made me this little keepsake box for my Birthday!

Just for you Lark!
As you have noticed, I'm not one for blogging lately. A good friend recently called me out on this - it's just I have other growing things on my mind right now so I don't take the time to post the cute things I have been making as of late. Well, Lark, this post is for you. Here are a few of my favorite creations from the past couple months. Enjoy!

It really works!
I know, I know, I am a huge slacker when it comes to the blog. I've got my hands full with other things so this kind of takes a back burner to all else.
I saw a thing on pinterest yesterday about how to clean a scratch DVD and I must admit I was very skeptical. All you need is toothpaste, a banana, window cleaner, and a couple of rags. Rub the scratched side of the disc with toothpaste and let it sit on there for about a minute. Clean off the toothpaste with a rag. Peel the banana and break it in half. Rub the broken side onto the disc in a circular motion. Then rub the banana peel over that in a circular motion. Wipe all the banana off with a rag. Spray it with window cleaner and then wipe it clean. If you do it right, you're disc should work without a problem. I tried it on our Mario Kart Wii Game that hasn't worked for about 6 months. I was very amazed when I put it in the Wii afterwards and it brought the game up. My little gamer was so excited he couldn't stop giggling!
