Reversible Block

I recently went to my cutie patootie nephew's blessing.  My SIL Leslie (who has a super cute blog here) had a craft for me, my mom, and my SIL Andrea to do.

Shamrocks and LUCK!

My dad cut some cute March things out for me - so I got to the decorating.  These were both pretty simple crafts to do.  I just painted the edges of the shamrocks then glued some paper on the front of them.

I didn't even paint the edges of LUCK - I just glued the paper on and DONE!

Joy and Noel

My dad cut these letters out for me.  I just used scrapbook paper because I wasn't feeling like painting the day I did them.  The paper is mod-podged on and then sprayed with glitter.  They turned out really cute!

Turkey Time!

I was asked to come up with a project for our Super Craft Night.  This is it:

I LOVE THANKSGIVING!! So, I of course, had to come up with something Thanksgiving-ish.  My dad cut it out and then after a little paint and modpodge and glitter - it was done.

Feeling Fall

Fall is my favorite time of year.  The evenings get cooler, the days aren't so hot, holidays are just around the corner.  Here are a couple of things I made for fall this year:

Fall Paper Windmills

September's word of the month

Wooden letters - I didn't want to just paint them so I found some cute fall-ish paper and modpodged it on.

Wall Hangings

I've seen various ways to do these and I've wanted to make them for some time.  I finally got around to doing it.  My dad cut me three 11 1/8 square boards.  I painted the edges and back off white.  I then modpodged 3 different papers on.  I used a craft knife to trim the paper around the edges.  I then glued ribbon around the sides and added a sawtooth picture hanger on the pack.  VERY simple to make and I love they way they look in our living room.

July's Craft of the Month

We made these little hook boards for our craft in July.  I decided to put mine up in our pantry and it is where I hang my aprons.  I love how it turned out!

Key hook

I saw this idea some time ago and finally got around to making it.  It hangs right by our door that leads into the garage and I don't have to hear - "Honey, did you see where I put my work keys?" anymore.

Container Revamp!

My husband gave me some frog tape containers from a side job he did.  I decided to make them cuter and I know use them for papercraft supplies.  I also took another container that I had lying around the house (it actually held our little dogs' treats) and made it cuter.  It now holds my sponge brushes.

this one contains brads

this one contains eyelets

this one contains paper flowers

paintbrush storage!

I love finding new uses for things and I couldn't be happier with how cute they turned out!

Mini Notebook

I made some of these a while ago and forgot to make myself one for my purse.  I pulled out the stuff and this is what I came up with.  The perfect little notebook for lists or whatever.

ABC 123

I finally got around to doing one of my to-do projects.  I took an old formula can and modpodged some cute paper and letters on it.  Then i filled it with ABCs, abcs, and 123s that I had made with my cricut and then laminated.  My whole intent was so Jake could get a little better at recognizing his letters and numbers.  It's hard to keep it away from our older Benjamin that likes to review all the stuff he has learned in preschool this year.  Kaden tries to get a hold of them too but he's not sure what it is he's trying to get a hold of.  Anyway, it came together cute and all the boys LOVE it.

Who's got the . . . .

Button.  Well, the button jar at least.  My mom has an antique wooden button box that I COVET!  I decided to make a button jar until I can get my hands on that box.  I just took an old plastic jar with a lid, mod podged some cute paper and letters on it and - DONE!  Very cute and now I have a place for all my buttons.

Easter Eggs

I saw this idea on a fellow crafters blog.  She had bought eggs at Robert's craft and then decorated them.  Since the closest Robert's Craft is 2 1/2 hours away from me, I found a board, drew some egg shapes, and had my dad cut and sand them for me.  I then went to decorating.  They turned out SO cute and I have received numerous compliments from visitors to our home.

Easter Blocks

I wanted to make some cute little easter decorations.  This is one of the two that I have planned to make.  I think they turned out very cute.  FYI - it was Aaron's idea to use the daisies who would've thought!
Thanks to Andrea for letting me use her cute new cricut create (I ordered one after using hers).  And my mom for letting me steal some cute Easter paper.

My own Monogram

I loved how Andrea's turned out so much that I made one for us!  It hangs in our dining room and it turned out so cute.  Again this is another thing I've been wanting to make for a long time but couldn't figure out a cute way to do it.  I've seen so many cute ones out there.
