More July crafts!

I have been trying to post this for a while now.  I know the 4th has come and gone - but first, the computer was causing me problems and wouldn't let me upload any pics.  Then, our 5 year old had his tonsils removed and has had a struggle recovering from that.  So, all I can say, is better late then never.

This was our craft night project for June!  The other side is all about Summer.

This is a free printable from eighteen25

Patriotic Dress

I made this little patriotic pillowcase dress for my cute niece Kaia.  It turned out very cute and it only took me about an hour and a half to make.

Paper (Bunting Like) Wreath

I got this idea from Family Fun magazine - if you haven't checked that out, you need to.  They always have way cute ideas.  Anyway, it took me all of 15 minutes to make and it turned out really good.  If you are looking for a quick Patriotic project - I recommend this one!

Flag

I decided I wanted to make a flag for our front door.  This is what I came up with:

I went to my local hardware store (AKA my parents house) and my dad had all the things I needed just lying around their garage.  He cut everything out for me (and my mom) and then we went to work painting and glittering it up.  It turned out EXACTLY how I was envisioning it.  (Don't you love when that happens?!)
