June Danglers and Plaque

This is one of my favorite sets - I think it is because of the flip flops!

Also, nothing says Summer like sweet frozen treats!

It's been a while!

I haven't really been into blogging lately - Sorry!  I have been crafting though so here is my latest project.  I recently bought a some new cricut cartridges so I used one of them to create this little plaque.  I LOVE how it turned out!

HAPPY MARCH!!

Winter Crafts!

First, I whipped up some winter-themed windmills:

Then, I used my skills I learned in grade-school and cut out a snowflake:

Gobble Gobble!

I LOVE how this little gobbler turned out.  I used an applique pattern and cut out scrapbook paper and then glued it all together.  Isn't he cute?!

Acorn!

I needed another Fall-ish decoration and I found a cute little template on a fellow crafters blog.  (Which one it was - I don't recall - SORRY!!)  This is what I came up with:

Halloween Windmills

I love making these little paper windmills for the different seasons and holidays.  They aren't difficult to make and they add a little something to the decor.

Feeling Fall

Fall is my favorite time of year.  The evenings get cooler, the days aren't so hot, holidays are just around the corner.  Here are a couple of things I made for fall this year:

Fall Paper Windmills

September's word of the month

Wooden letters - I didn't want to just paint them so I found some cute fall-ish paper and modpodged it on.

Finally a project finished!

I have been planning on doing this family rules board for about 3 months.  I couldn't decide on the paper I wanted to use or the font or basically anything.to do with it  I FINALLY made myself decide and I could not be happier with the outcome.  It looks awesome hanging in our dining room.  (Thanks Lynette, for the great idea!)

Wall Hangings

I've seen various ways to do these and I've wanted to make them for some time.  I finally got around to doing it.  My dad cut me three 11 1/8 square boards.  I painted the edges and back off white.  I then modpodged 3 different papers on.  I used a craft knife to trim the paper around the edges.  I then glued ribbon around the sides and added a sawtooth picture hanger on the pack.  VERY simple to make and I love they way they look in our living room.

August's word!

I had a hard time coming up with a word for August - I went back and forth between a few different words.
I settled on:

July's Word

Nothing says July like . . . .

Mini Scrapbook

This is another one of the projects that was included in a crafting kit that I bought a few years ago. (Why it took me this long to actually use the kit, I don't know!)  I need to add some pics to it and embellish it a bit more.

LOVE banner

I bought this crafting kit a couple of years ago and this was one of the projects included.  I still have to add some little pics of our family and then hang it up on the wall.  It turned out pretty cute and will make a great statement in my craft room!
