My new favorite craft!

I made this yesterday and I absolutely love how it turned out!
I wish I really could cast a spell that would keep my kids from whining.

BOO!

I have a ton of Halloween decorations but I'm always looking for something new to make.  This one was too cute to pass up.  I had my husband cut it out for me and then I got to the painting.
My favorite part is this cute spider that I made:

Project Fuzzy!

I recently made some hats for Project Fuzzy!  It is a charity that donates the hats to children's hospitals which then gives them to kids ages 0-18 that have undergone chemotherapy.  Here are a few of my favorites:

Cheesy Potato Soup

This is my husband's favorite soup that I make and it is so simple to do!

Here is the recipe:

8 medium size potatoes - peeled and cubed
1/2 lb bag of baby carrots - cut up
1 carton of chicken broth
1 red onion  - chopped

Start the above ingredients cooking on medium heat.  Bring to a boil and let them cook until the potatoes and carrots are tender.  Remove from heat and use a potato masher to mash up while it is still in your pan.

Return to medium heat and add the following:
4 cups milk mixed with 1/4 flour
1 TBSP parsley flakes
1 lb bacon cooked crisp and broken up
1 16 oz pkg of velveeta - cubed
Salt and Pepper to taste.

Stir constantly until all ingredients are mixed in and soup starts to thicken.  Remove from heat and serve with warm rolls!
DELICIOUS!

Canvas Flower Necklace

I made this a while ago with my SIL's Andrea and Leslie and my mom.  It has just taken me a while to post it.  We modeled it after a cute necklace that Andrea had bought!    It was way simple to make - we just cut circles out of canvas (6 per flower), glued them onto felt circles and then attached them all together.  We used a ribbon as the tie part and DONE!

A New Church Bag

My Mom bought the pattern and the fabric for this tote bag.  She wanted me to make one with her so that she could just look at mine and not have to follow the pattern.  It turned out really cute - but it was a major pain in the butt to do.

SALSA!!

I made this a couple weeks ago using a recipe I sort of made up.  Best part - I got to use ingredients from our garden to make it.

More July crafts!

I have been trying to post this for a while now.  I know the 4th has come and gone - but first, the computer was causing me problems and wouldn't let me upload any pics.  Then, our 5 year old had his tonsils removed and has had a struggle recovering from that.  So, all I can say, is better late then never.

This was our craft night project for June!  The other side is all about Summer.

This is a free printable from eighteen25
